RIDING LESSONS

The Riding Lessons at the Poki Roni Ranch are approximately an hour and a half form start to finish. Students are taught basics such as grooming, saddling, bridling, and correct horsemanship techniques. We offer beginning, intermediate, and advanced riding lessons. The instructor, Mrs. Pat Kirchner, has been an avid horse-person her entire life. She won a Grand-Champion rodeo title as a teenager and was named Horseperson of the Year in 2004 by the El Paso Dressage Society.

RIDING LESSONS:    $30 FOR A GROUP LESSON 
                                                    $85 FOR A PRIVATE 1 HR LESSON

Please wear long pants, because it isn’t very pretty after riding for an hour in shorts, and a shoe with a heel, about an inch in height at the most, if possible, on lesson day. We furnish the horse, the equipment, the

Another exciting thing we have here at Poki Roni Ranch, are the  Mission Valley Saddle Club Horse Shows, where our students and other horse people from surrounding areas come to compete against each other.
